Chick Flick Movie Nite, hosted by Women's Ministries, has rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 3rd at 6:30 pm! Women of Grace and 'tween/teen daughters come join us for a chick flick in the Crosswalk Room. We will be watching Flipped (PG) - a movie about two eighth-graders who start to have feelings for one another despite being total opposites. Popcorn, pop, root beer floats, and ice cream will be available - donations welcome. Invite a friend, coworker, family member, or neighbor! Kick back and relax!

Needed - VBS Leader: This year, Stacy Morley has stepped down from leading our Summer VBS program. She has done a great job, and it has impacted hundreds of kids. I am in need of a VBS Director or a Core team that would lead it. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Dan. The curriculum specials are out there right now!

Core Class 101: Discovering What GEFC is All About will begin February 5th, if interest is expressed. The class will meet in Rm. 203 (off the gym) during the Sunday school/ABF hour and will be for 4-5 sessions. This class offers a basic introduction to the Christian faith as well as GEFC's unique reason for existence. Explore the history, doctrine, and structure of the church and discover what it means to be a member of GEFC. QC Creation Science Assoc. announces a bus trip to the Creation Museum near Cincinnati, OH. It is an amazing place, and with this trip, we get group discounts to the museum and a planetarium show, as well as a special presentation. We leave Sunday, March 11th, at noon from Grace and return by midnight on Monday, March 12th. One night at a hotel and one dinner included, as well as breakfast. Only $160/adult, double occupancy; $110/child (5-12 yrs. old) in parent's room. An $80 deposit and registration is due to Helmut or Chris Schilb by Feb. 11th to hold a seat. The CPC Baby Bottle Program is beginning. Did you know that 72% of women who have an abortion claim a religious affiliation? Abortion is something that many women, regardless of their faith, can feel pressured to conside when facing an unexpected pregnancy. You can make a difference by filling a baby bottle with change and bills. We are partnering with Pregnancy Resources to reach abortion-vulnerable women with help, hope, and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. Bring back your filled-up bottle to the church by Feb. 5th or 12th.

Freedom Ministries Trivia Night: Friday, Feb. 10th, Grace is hosting another night of fun and trivia! Doors open at 6:30 and games start at 7 pm. $10 per person. Pre-signup preferred, but walk-ins okay, too. Call Carole G. at 563-505-1312 for signup and information. Put it on your calendar now and invite others to be on your team. Popcorn, soft drinks, coffee, and water for sale. You may bring your own snacks.
