- Copier Needs: We are in the process of getting a new copier. $811 has been donated so far to defray the cost of this unbudgeted (and unexpected) expense. If you are able to help, please so indicate in the memo portion of your check. Thanks to all who have donated.
- Creation Science Association open meeting - May 13th, 6:30 p.m., at Grace EFC. Helmut and Thea Welke will give a brief trip report on their upcoming rafting trip on the Colorado River that includes 280 miles through the Grand Canyon. The trip is sponsored by Answers in Genesis and will include lectures by Dr. Andrew Snelling, Geologist and Grand Canyon expert. After the trip report, a portion of a video by Dr. Snelling on flood geology will be shown.
- From the Youth Department: The youth ministry is looking for a gas grill, preferably a larger one. If you have one you'd like to donate, contact Pastor Dan.
- Announcing a Graduation Party for the Class of 2008 on Sunday, May 18th, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Crosswalk Youth Room. Please come celebrate our graduating seniors as they move on with God's plans for them. Please check out the grads' profiles on the wall by Pastor Bob's office.
- Attention Ladies of Grace: On Oct. 9-11, there is an opportunity for worship and teaching in Schaumburg, IL (suburb of Chicago) at the True Woman Conference. Registration is $109 if you register before August 1st. Check out www.truewoman.com for more information. If you plan to go, please tell Sharon Conrad. Three hotels are already sold out.
- T.I.G.H.T. Program - Tapping Into Grace's Hobbies and Talents: The purpose of the TIGHT program is to organize and communicate Grace E. Free Church's social and Bible groups for reaching out to the church body and to the community. In the church office, you will find T.I.G.H.T. inventory sheets you can fill out and turn into Clint Cox. There are also sheets in the guest registers you may use and then place in the offertory plate. Shortly after our first deadline of May 18th, we will publish the brochure on the church website and have copies in the narthex as well.
- Celebrate Christian Education Day: June 8th: 8:15 & 11:00 a.m. - B.R.I.C.K. Graduation and Communion; 9:45 a.m. - C.E. Volunteer Appreciation. You are cordially invited to a special event to honor all those who have volunteered for Christian Education ministry for the '07-'08 season. Reception to follow immediately.
